Will Music Interfere or Help with Writing?

Will music interfere or help writing?

A Good Question to Ask Yourself as a Writer: Will music interfere or help with my writing?
I used to believe that music would interfere with writing. However, I later discovered that it actually boosted my creativity. I then began experimenting listening to different genres. To my surprise, any song with no singing in the background helped increase my imagination. I started listening to ambient and movie soundtracks (love, action, drama, etc.). I am now unable to write my stories without listening to some type of music.
One of the benefits of listening to a song while writing is that it can play the role of a writing prompt. When I listen to a soundtrack, the next time that I start playing it, it takes me back to my writing without any effort. If I am writing a scene that I need to revisit, the same soundtrack will help bring my memory back. Music can also trigger different emotions within the writer. I find that when I am working on a tragic scene, I write with more emotions if I am listening to sad songs. If it is a scene with warriors fighting on a battlefield, I listen to the action.
I recommend that you experiment with different music types to discover if it helps with your creativity. It doesn't hurt to try. It might be worthwhile if you find that it does help. We like to leave you with this question: Do you believe that music interferes with your writing or helps your creativity? Have you experimented and come up with any conclusions? Feel free to share your thoughts with the author.

Should I Purchase a Digital Copy or a Physical Copy of a Book?

The world is changing with technology. E-book and digital books are making it convenient for book lovers to instantly download and read, whereas, in the old day, readers had to wait until they could purchase a copy from their local bookstores. They also could rent a copy from the library but it was almost impossible to be the lucky one who got a copy not already rented out. Nowadays, in today's trend, it comes to the buyer's preference. Readers have more powers on where to buy their book. As a reader, I like the physical feel of a book. I am also an impatient reader. If there is a book that I, eagerly want to read and cannot wait to go to a store, I download it and read it off my Kindle. I would guess that my problem with Kindle is the convenience factor. There are times that I don't have my device with me. It also runs out of battery if you put it aside after a read. The next that you go to it, you cannot read until you begin to charge it. It can become unconvineint.

How Important is Social Media for New Authors

How Important is Social Media for New Authors  Life as a new author can be challenging at the beginning. This is more so if you are not an active user on social media. It takes time to build your audience. You could argue that this is due to a generational change. If your target audiences are from millennial and younger then you know for a fact that it is almost mandatory to be present online. I can only assume that in the old days and perhaps with the baby boomers and older, you could get by without one. But, this would mean that you go old school by writing all your articles for the daily newspaper and destroying trees. If you start to analyze this transitional change, you will note that the baby boomers are forced to move forward or they will fall behind with gaining readers. These days, most readers are not holding a newspaper. They are on their phones, computers, and laptops. You could argue that there are online newspapers. However, if you do not share your social

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month September 2, 2017 Author: Nazanin Marzban Publisher: Crownlight "Ever wonder why the Childhood Cancer Awareness ribbon is gold? In 1997, a group of parents picked gold as the official color because it symbolizes how precious children are and their resiliency." - Trish Adkin   What Science Says About Childhood Cancer We are in September now. This is the time of changing seasons towards cooler temperature. It is the beginning of the fall season where students start school or head back to their school. I created this  blog  in honor of increasing awareness for kids who become the victim of cancer. According to many research studies, cancer is the number one deadliest disease for children over the age of one. There are new findings shared by scientists who emphasize the importance of children receiving vaccines. Apparently, it can prevent kids from several different cancers. It is as simple as being aware of the importan
